To provide a full spectrum of services: aquatic therapies, fitness assessments, personalized workout programs, classes, therapeutic massage, and health screenings.

The Aquatic and Wellness Center, located in the North Texas Rehab Center, offers 13,000 square feet of state-of-the-art equipment, land and water fitness classes, Wilson Therapy Pool, a six-lane 25 yard lap pool and various wellness screenings so members can swim, step, lift, or glide their way to better health.
Land and water fitness classes are free as is our supervised, onsite childcare. We also offer swimming lessons, massage therapy, MS group, personal training and an array of wellness programs and screenings. All new members receive a free fitness assessment with a trained professional who will design a program specific to their needs.
We invite you to visit and exercise with us in our non-competitive fitness environment. We are open to everyone and there are no contracts. Different membership options are available and we would like to help you find one to meet your needs. Aquatics:
The Wilson Therapy Pool offers members the opportunity to exercise in water with a temperature of ~93 while our six-lane 25 yard lap pool is maintained at ~84 for classes, personal exercise and lap swimming. Our pools are open for clients and members alike. We have 2-3 lanes open for lap swim at all times and offer a full range of aquatic equipment including: aqua-jogging belts, hand buoys, hand weights, resistance gloves, noodles, ankle and wrist buoys, and ankle and wrist weights.
Cardiovascular and Strength Training Equipment:
We offer a full range of the latest equipment including: LifeFitness treadmills, cross-trainers, upright and recumbent bicycles; Precor elliptical trainers; StairMaster stair climbers; NuStep recumbant cross-trainers; Sci-Fit UBE and recumbant bicycles; and Cybex, Hammer Strength, Life Fitness and ProMaxima strength training equipment.

Swimming Lessons:
The A&W offers swimming lessons throughout the year. Group and private lessons are available as well as Mommy-and-Me and Adult swimming lessons. All instructors are American Red Cross certified Water Safety Instructors. Membership is not required to participate in these classes. Throughout the fall, winter and spring, monthly children's swimming lessons are held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at a cost of $45/month. Massages:
The benefits of massage therapy include relaxation, relief of muscle tightness, improvement of circulation, and release of muscle pain. Types of massages offered include: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Rock, Lymphedema Drainage, Myofacial, Reflexology, Reiki, Carpal Tunnel and Chair Massages. Massages are available Monday through Saturday. Call 322-0771 or stop by the A&W to schedule an appointment.
Wellness Screenings:
Non-invasive screenings and health assessments can serve as a baseline for comparison, while educating you on the factors in your life that can be changed to decrease risk and prevent disease.
- Osteoporosis Risk Assessment: Evaluates your risk factors for Osteoporosis utilizing a bone mineral density screening instrument.
- Body Composition Analysis: Evaluates your body composition utilizing a near-infrared light screening instrument to measure body fat percentage, lean body mass and body water level.
Free Comprehensive Fitness Assessment:
This includes a body composition analysis and one-on-one sessions with a trained professional who will evaluate and design a program specific to your fitness needs. You are encouraged to be re-evaluated every 4-8 weeks, free, with your paid membership.

Membership includes an A&W T-Shirt, Initial Assessment and Follow-up Sessions, and all Classes specific to membership type.
- Memberships are a one-year contract.

- Corporate Memberships are available. Please inquire @ the A&W front desk.
- The A&W provides towels and daily use lockers. Members desiring to store personal items overnight can purchase an annual or monthly locker.
